When using and processing personal data, Lumeg-in d.o.o. strictly adheres to the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, which has been in force since May 25, 2018, and the applicable national law on the implementation of the general data protection regulation.

In the following, we inform you in detail about our rules for which purposes we collect and use your personal data, how we process them, and the procedures by which you can monitor and exercise your rights.

Lumeg-in d.o.o. has the right to use personal and anonymous data to the extent permitted by law, with restrictions based on the below-mentioned rights of respondents.

This Privacy Policy also applies only to our website www.lumeg-in.hr, which we manage. Please check the privacy policies (on the protection of personal data) found on websites managed and controlled by third parties, as these websites are beyond our control and Lumeg-in d.o.o. is not responsible for their content and personal data protection measures.

Please check the Privacy Policy periodically, changes are possible and will be published on our website: www.lumeg-in.hr.

Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective from the date of publication on our site, under “effective date” and under “version” at the bottom of this document.

 

Legal basis for processing personal data

 

We collect, process, and use personal data only for the purposes for which they were collected, and includes the following:

  • Processing to comply with the company’s legal obligations
  • Processing for the execution of the Agreement in which the user is the Client
  • Based on the express consent of the Client

We collect personal data exclusively in accordance with current regulations on the protection of personal data. Personal data is information that can identify you, and it may include, but is not limited to: name and surname, address/headquarters address, e-mail address, company OIB, company registration number, company MBS number, VAT identification number, authorized person for representative office, phone number, fax number, business account, name of the business bank and other information that you exchange with us and wish to remain confidential.

Lumeg-in d.o.o. processes your personal data, among other things, in the following cases:

  • if you contact us directly via e-mail, phone or personal messages via social networks to request information about our services or order services and products – in this case, personal data is collected directly from you for the purposes of concluding or executing an offer, contract, or invoice
  • if you complete a general contact form on our website to obtain additional information about our services
  • we may indirectly collect personal data that is publicly available on websites that do not belong to Lumeg j.d.o.o. (e.g., posts on social networks), data obtained through the use of cookies or links.

If you are under the age of 18, please do not provide us with any information without the consent of your parent or guardian. If you provide us with information on behalf of another person, you must ensure that that person is aware of this privacy policy before doing so.

 

Use of personal data

 

We collect your personal data exclusively for the purposes for which you have expressly submitted them to be able to fulfil your requests, namely:

  • responding to your inquiries and issuing offers
  • conclusion and execution of contracts
  • order processing
  • delivery of services and products
  • considering your job application in case you contact us through our website, or by other means, and leave your CV
  • application for employment tenders
  • by accepting the receipt of our newsletters
  • through business contact and cooperation, we can find out some personal data about business partners or their employees for the purpose of performing professional activities, but also for the purpose of establishing close business contacts
  • when you use our social media profiles or click “like”, we may receive content that you voluntarily choose to upload such as your profile information, photos, comments, opinions depending on the privacy settings of your social media account
  • when you use our website we may collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view, the time and location of your activity, application settings, and errors and hardware activity

We use (use) data only for established, clear, legitimate, and expected purposes and do not pass it on to third parties and do not use it for unforeseen or unexpected purposes, and we do not collect data to a greater extent than is necessary to achieve the stated purposes, so we use the data collected in this way primarily for:

  • ensuring the sale of our services and products
  • by providing services in accordance with contractual obligations
  • the most effective answer to your inquiry
  • maintaining and providing our website(s) and social networking sites – we may combine information we collect from various sources to provide better customer support and to provide you with better, tailored service, content, advertising content and advertisements
  • the possibility of sending catalogues, brochures, and other related promotional materials
  • establishing an employment relationship in accordance with applicable regulations
  • correspondence related to the execution of all items of a particular project

The data is used exclusively for the purpose of carrying out the basic activity of Lumeg-in d.o.o. and is not collected for marketing or other purposes.

Privacy protection of your personal data is permanent, and at any time you can ask to be excluded from our mailing list via the links found within each communication or by sending a direct request.

Documentation that is sent by e-mail with consent is in pdf or image format. In the system of Lumeg-in d.o.o. business documentation is protected by the Lumeg-in d.o.o. system, antivirus protection and the Lumeg-in d.o.o. information system. (Password required when accessing the program).

Employment at Lumeg-in d.o.o.

 

When Lumeg-in d.o.o. is in the need of new employees, the following procedure is followed:

 

  • in the published advertisement, it is mandatory to state that according to the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 and the applicable Croatian laws and regulations on data protection, the candidate’s consent is required for the processing of personal data for the purpose of selection and employment
  • the consent form is available on the official website: www.lumeg-in.hr
  • after the candidate submits the consent and all the necessary documents specified in the competition for the selection of candidates for employment at Lumeg-in d.o.o. the process of selecting candidates and recruiting for the advertised position is started

Detailed information on data processing that is not subject to the obligation to give consent is:

 

General contact form

  • Contact form (inquiry/commendation/criticism): when sending the contact form, your personal data from the contact data field (name and surname, company name, email, telephone/mobile phone) are processed.
  • Purpose: answer to your inquiry
  • Legal basis: legitimate interest
  • Storage period: 12 months

 

Legal basis for processing personal data

 

If you are from the territory of the European Union, the legal basis of the company Lumeg-in d.o.o. for the collection, processing and use of personal data described in this Privacy Policy is the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 which has been in force since May 25, 2018, and the applicable national Law on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Lumeg-in d.o.o. can process your personal data because:

 

  • we have to conclude a contract with you
  • you gave us permission for that
  • data processing is in our legitimate interest and is not overridden by your rights
  • we must comply with legal obligations

 

Retention of personal data

 

We store and process personal data (of customers, suppliers, persons who applied for the tender, etc.) only for as long as is necessary for the execution of a specific legitimate purpose, unless the applicable regulations provide for a longer storage period for a specific purpose or in order to comply with legal requirements obligations (e.g. if we had to keep your data in order to comply with legal obligations). In case of giving consent for marketing, we keep the data for as long as the consent is withdrawn.

All personal data of customers/suppliers that are collected and processed can be deleted from processing at your request, unless there is a legal obligation or legitimate interest (e.g., court case) for longer storage. Personal data that is no longer needed is securely destroyed.

Also, data and accompanying documentation when hiring a candidate for a new position is kept for the prescribed legal period, after which the documentation is destroyed or returned to the candidate (according to previously signed consent by the candidate for the advertised position).

 

Data transfer

 

Your data, including personal data, may be transferred to, and maintained on computers outside your country or outside the European Union or other jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those of the European Union. If you are located outside the Republic of Croatia and decide to provide us with information, please note that we transfer the data, including personal data, to Croatia and process it. Your consent to this Privacy Policy and the provision of your personal data constitutes your consent to this transfer.

The company Lumeg-in d.o.o. will take all necessary steps to ensure that your personal data is secure and is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy and that your personal data is not transferred to a company or country that does not have adequate mechanisms to protect your personal data.

Under certain circumstances, Lumeg-in d.o.o. may be obliged and obliged to publish (disclose) your personal data if it is required by law or if it receives valid requests from government bodies (e.g., a court or government agency or ministry, etc.).

Lumeg-in d.o.o. does not sell, rent, or lend user personal data to third parties and protects your personal data from unauthorized access. Data on computer servers is stored in a controlled, secure environment. Recipients of your personal data are limited exclusively to authorized persons who may, due to their functions, know your personal data. Lumeg-in d.o.o. will share your personal data with reliable business partners that Lumeg-in d.o.o. addresses in order to process your request. They have a contractual obligation to respect the confidentiality and security of the data they receive and may only use it for the purposes of the entrusted task.

Lumeg-in d.o.o. will not send you unsolicited e-mail nor is it responsible for an accidental error or an error due to force majeure or other objective circumstances that cause an accidental violation of the guaranteed protection of your personal data, but guarantees that the error will be corrected, if possible, as soon as possible.

We collect only those personal data that are necessary to comply with legal obligations or that have been provided to us voluntarily. We do not require you to send data in order to enable you to access our website (website) and we do not ask you to disclose more data than is really necessary.

The right to access personal data – you have the right to ask us to confirm whether your personal data is being processed and, if such personal data are being processed, access to personal data and the following information: purpose of processing, categories of personal data in question, recipients or categories of recipients of personal data, processors, the period in which personal data will be stored, information about your rights and sources of data if they were not collected from you. If your personal data is transferred and processed outside the EU, you have the right to get the information about appropriate protective measures.

Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) – you have the right to obtain from us the erasure of your personal data if there is no legitimate reason for further processing of that data by us (e.g., if the data is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was processed).   • if you dispute the accuracy of your personal data, during the period that allows us to check the accuracy of the data
  • if the processing of your personal data is illegal, and you object to the deletion and instead request the restriction of the use of the data
  • if you ask for them in order to establish, exercise or defend legal claims and we do not need them for processing
  • if you have filed a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data and are awaiting confirmation.

 

The right to data portability – you have the right to receive the personal data that you have given us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transfer them to another service provider, i.e., data processor, if the following conditions are met: the processing is based on your consent or on the contract and in addition it is carried out through automated means. If it is technically feasible, you have the right to direct data transfer from us to another controller.

 

The right to object – if the processing of your personal data is based on the achievement of our legitimate interests, you have the right to object at any time to such processing of personal data to the extent that the processing relates to your data. If you file a complaint:

  • related to direct marketing, then we will no longer process your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing
  • related to other cases of legitimate interest, then we will not further process your personal data for the purpose to which the complaint relates, except if we prove that there are compelling legitimate reasons for the processing that go beyond your interests, rights, or freedoms or if it is necessary to set up, exercise or defend our legal claims.

The right to withdraw your consent – you have the right to withdraw your consent that you have given to Lumeg-in d.o.o. at any time to process your personal data.

If you think that Lumeg-in d.o.o. acts in an illegal manner and you cannot solve the same in cooperation with us, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority for the protection of personal data in the Republic of Croatia – the Agency for the Protection of Personal Data (AZOP).
